Where to See Snow in Taiwan

1. Yushan Mountain

Yushan is the tallest mountain that makes up the little island of Taiwan. Yushan, often known as Jade Mountain, is 12,966 ft in height. It is not just the tallest peak in Taiwan but also the tallest in East Asia.  Yushan isn't among the highest mountains in the world, but it's nonetheless spectacular, especially for an island. Hiking to the Yushan mountain takes two full days, and permits must be obtained well in advance. You must reach the summit to have a possibility of seeing snow.

2. Hehuanshan Mountain

The Hehuanshan mountain range is located in central Taiwan. And, like the other mountains, you'll only see snow on this mountain further up during the winter. Snow is common at Hehuanshan during the cooler winter months, which is good news for snow enthusiasts. At least more so than other Taiwanese mountains. So your best time for seeing snow in January is Hehuanshan.
