Doi Suthep National Park

Doi Suthep National Park is a conservation area near Chiang Mai, Thailand. The park has a total size of over 1,500 square kilometers and is home to a wide variety of flora and animals, including over 400 species of birds, 300 species of butterflies, and over 100 species of mammals.

The park is named after Doi Suthep, a mountain inside its bounds. To reach to Doi Suthep National Park from Chiang Mai, take a local bus or songthaew (shared cab). The park is around 15 kilometers northwest of the city center and properly marked. You can either take a taxi or rent a private automobile with a driver. The park charges an entry fee, which is collected at the gate.
