Aside from its two bustling metropolises, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, other attractive small towns, important Civil War sites to visit, and spectacular state parks sprinkled throughout.

The Keystone State contains many varied cultures and localities for travelers to discover because it crosses not only the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic areas of the United States but also the Appalachian and Northeastern ones. It shares borders with New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, and Ohio, as well as a brief piece of Lake Erie coastline and the Appalachians.
