Explore Vietnam

Vietnam has developed as a reunified nation with lots of tourist attractions, from thriving urban cities to historical towns, beach resorts, rural villages, ancient sites, and exotic islands in recent decades.

Vietnam, a long, narrow country wedged between the South China Sea and the borders of Laos and Cambodia, is a land of striking landscapes ranging from the lush rice terraces and forested mountains of the north to the picturesque valleys of the Central Highlands and the fertile delta and beautiful beaches of the south.

Skyscrapers, pagodas, sophisticated hotels, restaurants, museums, and nightclubs abound throughout Vietnam's major cities, including Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Da Nang, and the country's capital, Hanoi. In historical cities such as Hue and Hoi An, royal palaces, imperial tombs, and colonial architecture may be seen in historical towns. The picturesque northern hamlet of Sapa provides tours to the mountains and ethnic hill tribes.

The Mekong Delta is filled with rice paddies, floating markets, fruit orchards, and conical-hatted farmers. Nha Trang, a lovely beach resort city, is popular with honeymooners and scuba divers.
